Catch a thrilling Hockey game in Canada’s Capital
Ottawa Travel Guide | Mittwoch, den 14. September 2011 um 17:16 Uhr
The players that glide across the ice during the National Hockey League (NHL) games that occur at Scotiabank Place in west Ottawa encompass much more than the Canadian hockey stereotypes. Travellers who wish to travel through Canada and immerse themselves in the passion of Ottawa’s sporting history can see a professional game during the NHL season.
According to the team’s website, the Ottawa Senators' season’s excitement will continue through this fall and winter and hopefully through the spring. They are scheduled to play many of the major teams from throughout the U.S. and Canada, competing for a spot in the NHL playoffs and ultimately the Stanley Cup Championship.
Visitors who purchase tickets to this type of sporting event will be witness to a massive gathering of hockey fans at one of Ottawa’s premier venues, Scotiabank Place. This giant stadium comes alive during Senators games, and welcomes fans near and far to enjoy this classic pastime. They are slated to play other big teams this October, such as the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers.
Travellers should not miss a true hockey experience while visiting Ottawa, as it will add to the memorable experiences they have while on holiday in the capital city.
