Held at the Ottawa Convention Center, the event will feature dozens of shows and presentations packed into five days of adrenaline-pumping excitement, states the organization's website.
International modeling talent will strut down the city's runways, introducing the audience to the best and brightest upcoming spring and summer lines. Many of the events can be enjoyed by travellers who are involved in the fashion industry or simply wish to witness an incredible city-wide celebration.
The Fashion Week blog is currently offering contests for free tickets and passes to the festivities that tourists may want to enter for a chance of a lifetime.
Travellers who have watched and admired all the amazing designs displayed at Fashion Week may have an itch to purchase some new clothing themselves. Fortunately, Ottawa is full of wonderfully trendy stores with the latest fashion choices available. According to the company's website, the Boutique le Papillon is a great choice for styles designed by Simon Chang, Marcona and Gerry Weber, which will surely please shoppers of varying tastes.
