Have a laugh at one of Ottawa's great comedy venues
Ottawa Travel Guide | Donnerstag, den 22. September 2011 um 15:50 Uhr

Deep down, Ottawa is a very funny city. There are some wonderful comedy clubs throughout the metropolis, providing locals and tourists alike with some great opportunities for a chuckle. Yuk Yuk's is one of those places that should not be missed during tours of Ottawa. Luckily, this venue boasts two different locations in the city, offering twice the fun and twice the laughs.
Yuk Yuk's in the Little Italy region of Ottawa has new talent every few days, performing memorable acts that leave audiences grinning from ear to ear. According to the venue's website, the acts last for about 100 and there is a full bar and snack selection available during the show.
At the end of October, comedian Darcy Michael will be taking over the Yuk Yuk's stage to illustrate his humorous genius, states his official website. Travellers who enjoy clowning around should not miss this Canadian-born comedian, who has won several awards, including honours at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.
After a great day spent checking out the attractions throughout Ottawa, a visit to Yuk Yuk's may be the ideal way to start a night out in this fun city.
