Last hosted in Ottawa in 2003, The JUNO Awards return to Canada’s Capital Region in 2012. The JUNO Awards will be broadcast by CTV from Scotiabank Place on Sunday, April 1, 2012 with performances by Blue Rodeo, City and Colour, deadmau5 and Feist. More performers will be announced in the coming weeks and tickets go on sale Friday February 10, 2012 at 10am EST.
In addition to The JUNO Awards, residents and visitors have the opportunity to take part in a host of JUNO Week events and festivities, March 26 – April 1, 2012.
JUNO Cup

A celebrity hockey game in support of MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with CARAS. Come see former NHL Greats competing with Canadian artists on the ice! Location and time TBA.
JUNOfest
Friday March 30 & Saturday March 31, 2012 9pm – 2am
JUNOfest is a signature event of JUNO Week. This two-night musical festival features more than 100 regional and national artists, nearly half will be chosen locally to highlight the Capital Region’s rich and diverse music scene, and will include performances by 2012 JUNO Award nominees. See three to four established and developing artists per venue sharing the stage at up to 15 locations in downtown Ottawa. Venues TBA.
