Bottoms Up!Breweries brew up good times…even to your door!
January 2012 welcomes the new Mill Street Brewpub (Ottawa) which serves 14 handcrafted beers on tap, special cask brew and a mouth-watering seasonal menu – all in a historic former pulp mill on the banks of the Ottawa River. Inside this 170-year-old stone building, complete the experience with a brewery tour!
The new Broadhead Brewing Company is an Ottawa-based microbrewery with spirit. Its six feisty, flavourful ales include the Underdog Pale, the Backbone Standard, the Long Shot White, the Grindstone Amber, the Dark Horse Stout and the Wildcard Ale.
Ottawa’s own Clocktower Brew Pub has opened a fourth location of its local chain in Westboro Village. Their beers are brewed at the original 575 Bank Street location in the Glebe and distributed exclusively to their other locations in the lively neighbourhoods of New Edinburgh, the ByWard Market, and Westboro Village.
Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company, a family-run brewery located about an hour’s drive east of downtown Ottawa, has announced a new “BYBO” (Buy Your Beau’s Online) service which delivers Beau’s beer to your door, and helps street youth at the same time.
