If you want a snack, try a BeaverTail, Ottawa's famous local pastry.
Thirsty? Try a Beau's Lug Tread Lagered Ale brewed in nearby Vankleek Hill. Not only is the beer delicious, its signature ceramic bottles are a guaranteed conversation-starter. Seasonal farmers' markets are increasingly popular, with the Ottawa Farmer's market at Lansdowne Park, and more and more local farmers selling their produce in both the ByWard and Parkdale markets.
