Beechwood VillageBordered by the Rideau River to the west and exclusive Rockcliffe Park to the North, Beechwood Village is a vibrant neighbourhood offering a unique blend of shops, boutiques and stores, fine restaurants, and a relaxed ambiance. Close to Rideau Hall – the Governor General's residence – Beechwood Village is blessed with an abundance of green space and parkland, including Beechwood Cemetery, the final resting place of many famous Canadians as well as the home of The National Military Cemetery and the RCMP Memorial Cemetery. Beechwood Village has undergone a rejuvenation over the past number of years, with new shops and restaurants springing up to cater to new residents moving into the neighbourhood.
