This winter, the city of Toronto will burst into light during the annual Christmas Lights Illumination Ceremony, which will take place throughout this vibrant city. Travellers who are on holiday in Toronto should not miss the spectacle, which draws thousands to the chilly streets to admire the incredible light installations created by local and international professionals.
Travellers who experience this event can look for LED lights shaped like pine trees, suspended bulb banners over the streets and even 3-D polar bears in Yonge-Dundas Square.
Also in Ontario, Canada’s capital city of Ottawa will have its own special lighting ceremonies during the winter. The city’s festival website says that parts of the city will be covered in thousands of sparkling white and coloured lights in celebration of the upcoming holidays. Locals and guests alike are encouraged to gather at Parliament Hill on December 1st for the official commencement of this fun and breathtaking event.
Ontario’s cities are gearing up for the approaching winter celebrations, and travellers are sure to enjoy these amazing events that will light up the urban landscapes throughout the region.
