Although some bands are no longer around to share their music with the world, other acts cover their iconic songs to continue to share them with the masses. Travellers who are fans of Pink Floyd, for instance, can head to Ottawa this winter to check out Canada's Comfortably Numb event, featuring a recreation of the 1975 Pigs, Wishes and Moons Tour by this iconic band.
This highly popular extravaganza has played to crowds of thousands in the past and is back for a spectacular 2012 tour. Skilled musicians lend their talents to bring some of Pink Floyd's most famous tunes back to life, presenting them alongside an amazing lights and pyrotechnic display that will delight audience members of all ages.
Travellers can see this show live in Gatineau, across the river from Ottawa, at the Canadian Museum of Civilization on February 25th and 26th. If tourists are planning to visit some other great cities, they can also catch the concert in Montreal or Toronto this February. Those looking for a thrill on holiday should not miss this spectacular show that bring some of the best tunes from the 1970s to a present-day crowd.
