If travellers are in the Ottawa region this April and are looking to venture a little outside the city, they can make plans to visit Almonte for a classical music performance. Called Angels and Demons, this show will welcome a trio of seasoned musicians to the stage to help celebrate the close of the season for this town's classical concert series.
With Paul Marleyn on the cello, Anne Robert on the violin and Stephane Lemelin on the piano, this group of players forms an acclaimed ensemble that will grace the stage for one-night only in Almonte. On April 21st, they will delight the audience with renditions of Beethoven's Ghost Trio, Schubert's Trio in B-flat and Rachmaninoff's Trio Elegiaque No. 1.
Students can enjoy special discounted tickets that can be purchased through the organisation's website. Travellers planning to attend may want to act fast, however, as the concert series tends to be popular and sell out quickly.
Those who like to try new things while on holiday should not miss a trip to Almonte this spring for the Angels and Demons concert at the Old Town Hall.
