Ottawa invites visitors to 'Be Our Guest'

Everyone remembers the first time they watched the Disney film "Beauty And The Beast," and this timeless tale has transcended the screen to become an award-winning Broadway production. From October 30 to November 2, guests at Ottawa hotels need only walk to the National Arts Centre to relive that first moment - this time, it's live.
As the first animated film to be nominated for Best Picture by the American Academy Awards, "Beauty And The Beast" is considered among the best tales of true love in movie history. For the stage production, visitors can see their favourite characters like Lumière, the mischievous candlestick, and Cogsworth, the anxious wind-up clock, come to life before their very eyes. Of course, there's always the beautiful Belle, who manages to fall in love with the Beast even though his wild appearance is nothing to smile at.
Before heading to the show, visitors should grab a bite to eat at Le Cafe, where master chef Michael Blackie has created a menu fit for a romantic evening that just might become a tale as old as time.
