Going green is skin deep at terra20, Ottawa's newest eco store

On September 15, Ottawa will welcome a new eco store called terra20, where visitors and residents can pick up any number of environmentally conscious products like household cleaners and common items that are typically made of plastic and harmful ingredients.
The store will open at the Pinecrest Mall on Iris Street and give hippies and eco-friendly consumers the chance to make the switch from products like bleach and Windex to terra20's powerful cleaners and fabric softeners. Additionally, all products are outfitted with helpful information about what it took to create the item, and the company prides itself in offering only organic and non-animal tested goods. Visitors can even pick up a few bath salts and soaps that will put any other so-called "natural" spa treatments to shame.
Terra20 is already Canada's largest eco store, according to Ottawa Magazine, offering more than 12,000 different products to those who travel to Ontario. As more companies strive to become environmentally friendly, terra20 has taken it a step further by providing items that businesses and households can use to make the world more beautiful for generations to come.
