Beer lovers rejoice! Ottawa will be welcoming Les 3 Brasseurs, or The 3 Brewers, on December 27. After a slew of construction delays, the Sparks Street Mall location (at Bank Street) is set to open its doors, much to the approval of residents and visitors on the hunt for the capital city's latest addition to the brewery scene.
Originally based in France, then opening in Montreal and other spots in Québec and Ontario, Les 3 Brasseurs is a hot spot not only for beer lovers, but those who want to have a delicious meal to go along with the refreshing libations. Anyone staying at an Ottawa hotel with an appetite for specialty brews need only take a short walk to the new location to enjoy what's on tap.
In a recent interview with Ottawa Magazine, Tom Arkalis, the supervisor of operations for Les 3 Brasseurs in Ontario and Quebec, said that he's glad the brewpub is opening in the winter, because that will give the staff ample time to prepare for the busy summer season.
Luckily for those who travel to Ontario during the winter, they can treat themselves to all of the menu items like grilled steak and burgers while washing it all down with a tall glass of beer.
