Looking to tear up the dance floor? Travel to Ontario and hit up Ottawa's clubs, where visitors and residents alike put on their snazziest outfits and bust a move. All corners of the capital city cut a rug during the weekend, and anyone staying at Ottawa hotels in the mood for some serious grooving won't want to miss their chance to put on their dancing shoes.
At Rochester Pub's Kitchen Party, local DJs spin vinyl records and throw a beat on classic tunes. Jose Palacios and Pawl Skorupski, also known as Hobo and Sweet Cheeks, work together to create a spectacular dance party that keeps hundreds of people coming back for more. Of course, as with many Ottawa pubs, visitors have the chance to sample local brews on tap.
Another sweet shindig happens at the Hintonburg Public House, and this Sunday, DJ Acro will be there to make sure everyone has a great time as they enjoy their first annual holiday fundraiser. All of the proceeds will go to the Ottawa Food Bank, and visitors are encouraged to bring gently used coats to donate to the Snowsuit Fund.
