Travellers bring out their '70s dance moves during the Shake Your Groove Dance Party

Visitors to Ottawa and local residents will be able to take out those old bell bottoms and tie-dye T-shirts and enjoy a night at the Ottawa Convention Centre. The Shake Your Groove '70s Dance Party will take place on December 29, and fans of the era can come and enjoy many hits while dancing the night away.
The event, which will be sponsored by BOOM 99.7 and Metro, will start at 8 p.m. and last until early the next morning, letting everyone get their disco on.
Not only will people get to dance to more than 100 hits from the '70s, but some of the proceeds from this event will go to a good cause. A portion of what the event collects will go to Babes4Breasts, a national organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for breast cancer.
This isn't an event for children however, as those under the age of 19 will not be let in because alcohol will be served.
