Families planning a trip to Ottawa should be sure to include a few things for the kids to enjoy - and there are a number of activities for children to try. Here are some of the fun-filled places to go for parents and kids who are planning to travel to Ottawa. 

Aboriginal Experiences 
If you’re visiting Ottawa with a group this summer, why not mix an educational experience with a fun one and enjoy a tour of an aboriginal village? Aboriginal Experiences, which is on Victoria Island, takes its visitors on a journey through Canadian history with arts and different types of interactive programs. Everything from native music to craft making to legends will be included in during this fun-filled experience.

More often than not, when children hear that there is an indoor playground - that is both massive and safe - they will likely rejoice. This massive dome is something that both kids and adults can sit back and marvel at. Right now, the IMAX Theatre at the Canadian Museum of Civilisation is showing The Last Reef 3D and the Flight of the Butterflies 3D, which both provide an educational and entertaining experience for children.
