Spend a day at the Canadian Museum of Nature

When it comes to travelling to Ottawa, there is no lack of things to do and attractions to see. Even though families may have a jam-packed schedule of what they would like to do when they make it to Canada's capital, they may want to make room for the Canadian Museum of Nature.
This building prides itself on being more than a traditional natural history museum, as it has a great deal of interactive exhibits for the whole family. There are a great number of exhibits and shows to enjoy, and some of the exhibits are temporary, whereas others are there to stay. The newest permanent exhibit to open is the Vale Earth Gallery, which takes people on a tour on what the Earth can do. Children will likely be more than pleased when they learn how to build a volcano and learn about the many geological forces that created the world people live in today.
Not only is this a fun time for kids, but parents will probably enjoy the rich history, stunning works of art and interactive activities just as much as their little ones.
