If travellers are journeying to Ottawa with little ones, they may want to relax a bit after trying out all the wondrous attractions and things to do throughout the region this winter. Fortunately, there will be a great event happening at the Glebe Community Centre on December 16th that may be the perfect thing to help children unwind for the evening.
This organization provides free family movie nights periodically throughout the year and encourages locals and guests to attend the screenings, says the venue’s website. This December, the centre will show The Polar Express, a classic holiday film that tells the story of a small boy and his night meeting Santa Claus.
The New York Times gave the film a great review for its cinematics and ability to breathe new life into a favourite Christmas book that has been shared with families for generations.
Guests of all ages are welcome to attend this free event while in Canada’s capital city, which could be a fun holiday treat for the little ones to enjoy while on vacation.
