Many travellers like to check out the beautiful art galleries and museums that can be found in new cities, but some prefer to take some artwork home to remember their holiday as well. Near the city of Ottawa this January 11th to the 29th, the Kanata Gallery is hosting a juried art show and sale to expose residents and visitors to the wonderful masterpieces on display at the facility.
For over 25 years, this event has delighted guests, offering them the opportunity to learn about the local art world and purchase amazing pieces right from the artists and gallery. Guests are encouraged to view pieces created from pastels, oil paints, acrylics and more, many of which are available to buy. Anyone may attend and enjoy free admission.
With the event spanning several dates and times, those visiting Canada's capital city throughout the month of January have plenty of time to check out the Kanata Gallery and its winter art show. The venue's website says that it specializes in beautiful and often colourful artwork by residents who live in the neighbourhood of Kanata and around Ottawa. Travellers should not miss a visit to this great gallery while in holiday in Ontario.
