Adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts will want to make plans to visit Canada’s capital city this February to take part in a fantastic event being held at the new CE Centre. The Ottawa Boat and Sportsmen’s Show is slated to be one of the best of its kind, featuring some great vendors, professional demonstrations and more during four days full of everything outdoorsy.

This exciting event will be welcoming more than 24,000 spectators from across Canada and throughout the world to gather with others who are fans of aquatic sports and water activities. The city is ideal for this type of convention, as it is located near some major waterways, such as the Rideau Canal and Ottawa River. Guests to the show can check out some of the latest equipment being displayed for all kinds of different excursions centred around water sports. For example, there will be powerboats, jet skis, white water rafts and more, all for purchase and for travellers to get more information about all they can do on the water while on holiday or at home.

Roughly 200 exhibitors will be participating in the event, including Carp Fishing in Canada, North South Nautical Group and Orleans Boat World. Other activities will allow guests to learn about nature conversation, practice their fishing techniques, and indulge in the opportunity to take home some great gifts and swag from the event.

Tickets are on sale though the convention’s website. Families can buy passes together, seniors will receive a special discount and children under 10 can be admitted free of charge. This can be a fun way for loved ones to relive memories of being out on their boat or make some decisions together on a new aquatic activity they can do as a family.

The CE Centre itself is of one of the city’s newest venues, says the organization’s website. It can accommodate thousands of conference goers in its massive meeting rooms that can open up to allow large boats, vehicles and more to be showcased on the floor alongside hundreds of booths and displays.
