Something silly and clever is happening at Canada's National Arts Centre (NAC) in Ottawa from January 30th to February 20th that travellers with a good sense of humour will not want to miss. The play Creation, which was written by Peter Anderson, will be performed by the NAC Theatre Company. Seeing this fun and hilarious production while on holiday may be great way to check out Ottawa's funny bone and have a night out on the town.
Creation is about the classic characters in the Bible as God creates them, including Noah, Moses, Adam and Eve. Their adventures are set to over-the-top musical numbers and an underlying mystery plot that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
The play has received some positive reviews in the past, including a write-up from Review Vancouver that said Anderson did a fantastic job blending together traditional ideas and a modern twist with this unique take of biblical tales and fables.
Although this play may not be for everyone, those who want to try something new and experience a modern theatrical performance in Ottawa will surely be pleased with seeing Creation on their holiday.
