If fans of the band U2 are going to travel in Canada this March, they can head straight for the Centrepointe Theatre and see one of the act's most famous albums performed by a faithful, pitch-perfect cover band. Classic Albums Live will be playing U2's Joshua Tree album in its entirety on March 17th at this spectacular venue in Ottawa.
Joshua Tree, originally released in 1987, was regaled across the globe as one of the band's best pieces of work. Some of the record's singles that topped the charts include "I Still Haven't Found What I'm looking For" and 'Where the Streets Have No Name." It has sold more than 25 million copies, won two Grammy Awards and many of its songs are still regarded as great examples of U2's legacy.
At this show in Canada's capital city, the audience will be treated to the songs of Joshua Tree as they were originally recorded and compiled, which may make for a fun and memorable holiday activity with loved ones.
