As spring flowers and sunny skies begin to enter people's minds when they travel in Canada, they may want to stock up on the latest products they will need for their warmer weather ventures. Fortunately, if travellers are going to be in Ottawa this March 22nd to the 25th, they can take care of all their DIY projects and landscaping needs at the Home and Garden Show. Hosted by the new CE Centre, this convention can be a great way to kick start the upcoming season and discover some new products from dozens of Canadian businesses.
The array of vendors that are to be featured during the event cover a vast range of offerings in the home improvement industry. For instance, guests can learn about organisation and storage options for their home, or check out the new technologies that can be installed in everything from refrigerators to lighting.
Not only will the vendor be offering their services and products, there are plenty of other things to see and do during the convention. One of the highlights is the promotion that participants can enter to win free tickets to the next Home and Garden Show happening in Washington state. Winners will also get the chance to meet Ty Pennington, star of the reality show Extreme Home Makeover. There will also be two entire homes on display at the convention centre, each of which feature some of the latest trends and installations in home improvement.
If travellers are looking for the newest information on the Home and Garden Show, they can visit the event's Facebook fan page, which welcomes guests to share tips on decorating and their own personal projects before and after the festivities. Although this showcase is geared towards an older crowd, children are also encouraged to attend and those under 12 can receive free admission. All others can get special discounts on their tickets if they decide to book online through the event's website or purchase tickets in groups of eight or more. So if tourists are in Ottawa this March, making plans to take part in this convention can be a great addition to an itinerary of entertainment, dining and seeing all the attractions this vibrant city has to offer.
