Sometimes travellers just want to have some good, local fun when they take their holiday in a new city. Those enjoying tours of Ottawa this spring can take a break and go to The Laff, which has been a city favourite with tourists and residents alike for years.
Every Thursday, players gather at the pub for informal and friendly dart games. Guests may play against their friends and family, or get paired up randomly with a fellow competitor. All skill levels are welcome to participate, and patrons can watch the games while enjoying some of the tournament's drink and food specials. It only costs a couple of dollars to be a part of the games and there is no cover charge to enter.
If travellers really enjoy playing darts and want to try their luck at some other venues in Ottawa, they can also make plans to visit Lunergan's Pub, which has several dartboards in their main lounge, or head to the Dominion Tavern in the Byward Market for darts and billiards.
