When travelling to new places, individuals often want to see some of the artwork that is on display at local venues. While taking tours of Ottawa, travellers can visit the Lafreniere & Pai Gallery to see some unique and beautiful pieces of jewellery and ceramics created by artists in the city.
Over the past 12 years, the gallery has featured an interesting collection of pieces covering a wide range of styles that guests can view and purchase as one-of-a-kind souvenirs. This summer, several artists will take centre stage and exhibit their latest works for the public to admire.
For instance, travellers can see Brad Copping's intricate glasswork, much of which incorporates blown glass with household items, like corks. The jewellery of Vivienne Jones will also be highlighted, featuring weaves of metal and plenty of bright colours.
The Lafreniere & Pai Gallery is open seven days a week and is located on Murray Street in the dynamic ByWard Market neighbourhood. Checking out this local art collection could be a great way to pass the time with the whole family while on holiday.
