On August 25, international DJs will flock to Ottawa for the annual DJ Festival, a celebration of club and party music. When they come together in one exhilarating event, these musical mixologists collaborate to present revolutionary sounds that even non-clubbers can enjoy.
This year's headliner, Tony Dark Eyes, hails from Mexico and has been ripping up the clubs ever since he first came onto the scene in 2010. His electro beats keep dancers going well into the morning hours, and visitors may find themselves losing track of time as they party all night long.
DJs aren't the only performers slated for their eponymous fest, however, as world musicians Remesha Drums will be playing African drums in the outdoor concert hall in the beautiful Ottawan sunlight. Their daring acrobatics have set them apart from traditional drummers as they leap over their instruments while managing to play heart-pumping beats.
If travelers are thinking about attending the festival, they can stay at any number of hotels in Ottawa, whether they want budget-friendly accommodations or luxury suites for a truly high-class vacation.
