Rideau Centre
Located just a block east of Parliament Hill in the Downtown Rideau District at Rideau Street and Sussex Drive, Rideau Centre is Ottawa’s only downtown enclosed shopping centre, with over 160 leading international and local retailers.

- The Centre is a designated tourist area, which means it is open most holidays, except Christmas, New Years and Easter.
- Rideau Centre is home to Ottawa’s only Apple Store. Other retailers found nowhere else in the city include Forever 21, Judith & Charles, Harry Rosen, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Lacoste, Lucky Brand Jeans, Benetton, Zara, Club Monaco, RW & Co, Bose.
- The Centre also houses restaurants, coffee shops, a food court, cinemas and services
- Rideau Centre hosts performances by artists from the RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest each July, and stages fashion and beauty presentations each spring and fall.
- Tourist information is available at the Centre’s Customer Service Centre on the third floor.
- The Centre is next to its namesake, the Rideau Canal.
- Rideau Centre is part of the complex that houses the Ottawa Convention Centre and Westin Hotel, and is directly connected to both.
- The Centre opened in July 1983.
