Travellers who enjoy sampling local cuisine while being entertained should make reservations for an evening at The Velvet Room in Canada's capital city. Several evenings a week, this elegant night club hosts Scarlett's Dinner Theatre, which is sure to delight visitors to Ottawa this holiday season.
While guests dine on a tasty three-course meal, there is a plot unfolding around the room where a killer is on the loose and preying on unsuspecting victims, says the venue's website. It is up to the audience to work with detective Eddie May to solve the crimes committed and bring the club back to order. The vibrant and enthusiastic cast truly brings this show to life, which makes for a wonderful demonstration to experience.
The Velvet Room itself is a great place to have a cocktail and indulge in some live entertainment. Adorned with chandeliers and dark wood detailing, the decor of this club makes for an interesting environment to enjoy some theatrical performances or hit the dance floor.
