“Home style organic produce” is the term that Tom and Allaine apply to the wide variety of vegetables they grow using Demeter (Biodynamic) protocols. Our plant positive philosophy places the onus on the farmer to ensure that the plants are strong and therefore resistant to disease and insects. “Organic farmers nurture the soil because vibrantly living soil is the key to plant life,” explains Tom. He and Allaine base the superior quality of their produce on the use of biodynamic preparations on both their gardens and compost, mineralization, and growing open-pollinated heirloom vegetables.
