Goulbourn Museum

The Goulbourn Museum chronicles the history of life in what is now Ottawa’s west end.  This historic stone structure – once Goulbourn Township Hall – features a number of interactive exhibitions. These include the 100th Regiment of Foot, which recounts the stories of the soldiers who settled in Goulbourn after the War of 1812. Another, Goulbourn Township’s Pioneers, focuses on the area’s local communities and pioneers.  Bring the kids and let them dress up in period costume and barter for supplies at the Village Store.   While you’re at the Museum, check out the Gift Shop for a selection of publications about Goulbourn.
