The Village

A six by two block area of Bank Street—from Nepean to James Streets (north to south) and Kent and O’Connor Streets (west to east)—is Ottawa’s officially designated Village. This growing gaybourhood is surrounded by well-established and newly blossoming LGBTTQ+-friendly bars, restaurants and accommodations. Its home to over 20 businesses and services that directly serve the LGBTTQ+ community, many of which are gay owned and operated, with another nearly 40 locations that proudly support and serve the Village and Ottawa’s LGBTT+ community.
