Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum
Built in secrecy at the height of the Cold War, this four-storey underground bunker, meant to house Canada’s government in the event of a nuclear war, is now a National Historic Site and Canada’s Cold War Museum. Year-round exhibitions, programs and events offer visitors of all ages a chilling glimpse into Canada’s past. An exciting selection of souvenirs is also available in the Cold War Store! Tours of this unique facility take visitors through recreations of government work spaces, living quarters and cryptographic areas.
