Note: Tours and events at the Wabano Centre are unavailable to the general public until further notice. Services for the Indigenous community remain available.

Designed by well-known Indigenous Canadian architect Douglas Cardinal, this unique building boasts six meeting spaces filled with natural light.

The Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health is a community gathering place that welcomes events both large and small. Its rental facilities can accommodate groups of eight to 600 people in 10,000 square feet of event space. The Rotunda is particularly striking, with its domed ceiling painted in the four sacred colours of the Indigenous medicine wheel, illuminated by a skylight.

Located in the Vanier neighbourhood just east of downtown Ottawa, the Wabano Centre has an on-site event coordinator and partners with a local audiovisual firm for technical support. A full catering menu includes Indigenous cuisine, and the venue offers high-speed internet service.
