For one night each month throughout most of the year, Ottawa’s historic Canadian Museum of Nature is transformed into an exciting venue where you can stimulate your curiosity and move your body!
Evening at the museum
From 8 p.m. to midnight, the castle-like museum is filled with music, mingling, and engaging activities. Sip a drink, nibble on a snack or dance the night away to the sounds of live bands and DJs throughout the galleries and exhibits. Meet your friends on the large dance floor under the giant moon in the beautifully lit Queens’ Lantern – all overlooking downtown Ottawa!
Each month, a different theme inspires the event’s featured programming. Interactive activities, special guests and sometimes even live animals provide plenty of photo opportunities. And creative costumes are often encouraged!
Visit the Canadian Museum of Nature website to view upcoming Nature Nocturne events and to purchase tickets. These popular events often sell out!
