Canada’s capital will be merrier than ever this holiday season thanks to its first traditional Ottawa Christmas Market! Festive fare, live entertainment and holiday fun will fill the outdoor plaza at Lansdowne in the vibrant Glebe neighbourhood. Bring the entire family to this free, European-style event on weekends from November 29 to December 22, 2019!
Tasty fare, cool finds and festive fun
Enjoy seasonal food and drink (including alcoholic options) while browsing local goods at vendor cabins, singing Christmas carols and taking photos with Christmas trees, Santa Claus and glittering displays.
On opening night, see the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00 p.m. and enjoy a concert by Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk! Other talented acts will perform on the outdoor Casino Lac-Leamy Stage at Lansdowne throughout the festival.
Hours and neighbouring event
The Ottawa Christmas Market is open Friday evenings through Sundays, from November 29 to December 22, 2019.
Bonus: While at the festival on Saturdays and Sundays, you can also visit the special Christmas Edition of the weekly Ottawa Farmers’ Market to browse over 100 vendors of local crafts and food items inside Lansdowne’s historic Aberdeen Pavilion.
