Canada is no stranger to the revival of the doughnut. In fact, we arguably have more doughnut shops per capita than any other country! Here in Canada’s capital, we take our doughnuts very seriously. From the familiar to the far from it, the sweet and the sugary to the dairy-free and vegan, these local bakeries and artisanal shops offer up some tasty twists on this traditional treat.
Doughnut let us stop you from drooling over these gourmet pastries. In no particular order, here are some mouth-watering bakeries that’ll have you believing boring doughnuts don’t exist:

Depending on chef specials, you might also be able to try toppings like matcha, raspberry tart and mochi with red bean.
7. Feast + Revel
