Canada’s national winter sport, hockey, is a popular pastime in Ottawa and you can join in on the fan fun! Catch exciting National Hockey League (NHL) action by attending an Ottawa Senators game at the Canadian Tire Centre, September through April.
Get your tickets and join the Sens Army (Sens fans) as they cheer on their team against the likes of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens and other rivals throughout the league. To look the part, paint your face red and black, or throw on your favourite piece of Sens garb. And while at the game, keep an eye out for the Senators’ fun-loving and friendly mascot, Spartacat!
Getting to the games
The Canadian Tire Centre is located in the suburb of Kanata, about a 20-minute drive west from downtown Ottawa. Ottawa’s public transit service, OC Transpo, provides convenient bus service to the games.
